About Homestay Hosting

Homestay hosting is a unique opportunity to welcome international exchange participants into your home. It's more than just providing a room; it's about creating a cultural exchange experience, building lasting connections, and sharing your love for Denver and Colorado through sightseeing and cultural excursions.

Our international visitors stay for as little as a few days and as long as one month. We will work with you to decide the timing that works for you.

As a Homestay Host Volunteer, you will:

• Provide a warm and safe home-away-from-home with a private bedroom, access to a bathroom, breakfast, and dinners on most days. 
• Spend evenings and weekends getting to know your guests and showing them around your favorite spots. 
• Assist with local transportation in coordination with WorldDenver staff and other Homestay Hosts. 
• Complete our online application and schedule a home visit from a WorldDenver staff member. In some cases, a background check will also be required.
