Description

Join WorldDenver for an important and timely conversation focused on global efforts to break the cycles of genocide and mass atrocities. This Speaker Series event features a fireside chat between human rights scholar Rachel Miner, Founder and CEO of Bellwether International, and Dr. Pius Kamau, host of the Coalition Against Global Genocide’s Never Again podcast.

Together, they will explore the root causes of genocide, the failures of international response systems, and how grassroots and global leadership can work together to prevent future atrocities. Drawing from their deep experience in advocacy and peacebuilding, Miner and Dr. Kamau bring unique and powerful perspectives to this critical conversation.

The evening will open with personal reflections from Juma from the Colorado Refugee Speaker Series, who will share his lived experience and insights on resilience, identity, and the human cost of conflict.
