Description

Join a group of women leaders from Europe, Africa, and the Middle East for a discussion about the film Strong Sisters: Elected Women in Colorado. The event will kick off with a short conversation with Crisanta Duran, former Speaker of the Colorado House of Representatives, who will talk about her experiences as a young Latina lawmaker. We will then break participants into small groups for in-depth discussions about the film and women as leaders and changemakers!

Watch Strong Sisters for free on YouTube at this link in advance, and come prepared to discuss the film as well as learn more about our international visitors and their work!

Registration will be capped at 20 U.S. participants and is limited to WorldDenver members. This discussion is part of an International Visitor Leadership Program project on Women in Politics & Civil Society. Please contact WorldDenver's IVLP Coordinator Shannon Payne at shannon@worlddenver.org with any questions.
